It's a story of a girl that was never told,
Since it was not a happy ending, the book wasn't sold;
The story starts when she fell in love;
and she dared to want someone, she can never have;
She bargained her past and her tomorrow..,
But all she got in return was nothing but sorrow;
He never looked, never smiled for her,
Although she gave everything, she can offer
She never knew love was so costly;
So she lost, well mostly..,
cuz she took the heartache and pain as her reward;
as those are the only things, she can afford;
All the color of her paint and the ink of her pen,
She spent to draw him and to write his name;
And there were many who offered to love her,
Yet she denied there hand and chose to fall deeper;
At the end of story, the lessons that she learned..
That love is given, not earned.
And this was a story of her and of many;
Who only loved, without getting any.
