The Bleeding Girl
Through the snow and ice he goes ,
With a girl in his arms, her life in the throes
Her blood stains the pure white ground
But he does not falter, he does not slow down.

He knows he must keep moving on
To reach safety before the break of dawn.

The winter air bites at his skin hearing the roars of the monsters gaining up
But he cannot stop, he cannot give in.

The girl in his arms is cold and pale, the little life in her eyes soaking from within.

Her life slipping away with each passing gale
But he holds her close, he holds her tight
And whispers to her through the long, dark night

"Stay with me, don't leave me now
We'll make it through somehow
I'll keep you safe, I'll keep you warm
Until we reach shelter from the storm"

He trudges through the snow and sleet,

His heart heavy...
