In realms where words dance, bound by the page,
A symphony of thoughts, unleashed in sage.
Lines unfurl, like petals in bloom,
In the garden of verse, where souls find room.

With pen in hand, and heart laid bare,
Poetry sings, a melody rare.
Through whispers of dawn, and shadows of night,
It captures emotions, in flights of delight.

In sonnets and ballads, limericks and odes,
The essence of life, in stanzas it unloads.
Each syllable a brushstroke, painting the scene,
In colors unseen, where dreams convene.

So here's to Poetry Day, a celebration divine,
Of the power of words, in rhythm and rhyme.
Let us embrace the magic, let our spirits sway,
In the timeless embrace, of poetry's sway.
