God of Blood
Knee deep in blood squeaking and thickly oozing across my shoes.
You're a monster echos in my mind.
The darkened chambers twist and unwind.
No one understands how blood cries to me.
In one moment I'm a God holding the essence of life.
Seeing the passion of someone grasping onto their last breath. I crush it and the energy feeds my soul.
I become immortal breathing the blood's metallic matter in. Like dirt it drops to the earth.
Trickling down my fingers past my wrists like a thick portal to a peace.
Peace is unattainable without this moment.
I could careless how psychotic Iam to the ants of this world.
I'll be remembered they will not.
I won't be wiped away like the rest of the insects that live in fear of death and blood.
Perhaps I am a monster without soul or conscience.
But in this moment I'm a god of life's essence.
