I couldn't believe my eyes.
I tried to hold it in.
But a tear fell gently down my cheeks
As I watched my love disappear.
I realized that I may never see my love again.
My heartbreak was felt within,
As he walked away into the distance.
The pain I felt was searing like fire
From the burning scars deep within.
So, I let the tears fall where they may.
I let the pain be washed away
