RECOLLECTIONS

The little things we did...
Go through, dancing in phases, right in my heart
Painted, picturesquely as never before seen
We're, clearly, immortalized by love

Storms have, for years so many, raged
And winds have, for seasons betwixt trees, whistled
The sun has shone and the rain has for long rained
But our decades-aged recollections still, like a young soul, make me giggle

I still know the patterns and moves of our trademark dance
And I remember, your quick mastery of moves
And how sometimes, our legs, somehow hit the ground like angulate hoofs
Given a platform, to show, still, I'd cling to the chance!

I know, still, the lines of thy favorite poems
From the very fast lines, running down like streams to the the last ones
And like songs, I can sing 'em beautifully, yet fast
Though you never wrote, your eyes and voice were a poet's

I know, still, the sound of thy sweetest laughter
Curves of thy prettiest smiles were scenic, O yes I remember
How you freezed in fear and blazed in anger, I mastered
We're immortalized in memories and us, I will always remember!
