The school yard
Back in high school me and my dearest
cousin owned the cigarette trade for four years.
Others were established in cans of pop,
chocolate bars, toffee, you name it,
it probably got sold.

The school and the school officer
tried to get some of us done,
for selling goods without a licence,
not paying tax on items sold,
blah blah blah.
Like thirteen year olds know about
income tax and acts of parliament,
let alone taught it.

The point to my story is that the yard
taught me more about real life
situations and problems
than the class room ever did.
