I bow my head and close my teary eyes
I seek the Lord once again
He knows the extent of this heartache
And He sees the road where I've been!
I stress the importance of Him getting me through
Because there can be no other way
And He has come and brought me comfort
Each and every day!
The same strength that He has
Does live inside of me

A Comforter is what He'll be!
It's true in the past I have doubted Him
