An Outcast
This goes out to all the students who feel like they don't belong, who feel like the only means of escape is through highs because they feel alone, feel like no one can relate. This is my story and my awareness for addiction as well as awareness for bullying

Walking through the halls,
Odd stares as they all laugh ,
Problems with the kids;
And problems with the staff,

I don't fit in,
Only friend was the pills;
That got me addicted ,

I don't fit in,
Only friend was the coke;
That I sniffed,

An unlucky ugly druggie;
With desperation on his mind,
But everything's better with highs;

Or so he thought ,
He knew he needs to stop;
But everyday he needs to cop,

No friends and no circle ,
Flushed face that's turning purple ,
Lost for words, now he's not verbal ,
Never knew the problem was eternal ,

He's such an outcast,
Wondering why don't people like him?,
Hoping the thunder and the clouds pass;
Before it strikes him,
He heard a loud gasp;
From the people who denied him,

He's convulsed, about to collapse ,
Ringing in his ears;
With the faint sound of laughs,
All the kids from his class;
Don't know how to react ,

Cause of death
Was ruled a suicide ,
Why would they tell you a lie?,
Cause in the end;
The booze and highs
Was his truth in life,

He couldn't take it;
The bullies who tainted
His self image ,
No one listened ;
When he was at his limit,
They only chose to listen ;
When they saw
that he was just another teenage statistic
