What comes
of us
at this time.
When the sea
is still,
but the moon
is high.
What delights
are there,
for us to view.
When the
month of
April becomes
the new.
Now, so many
months
into the year.
The beginning’s
gone,
but the
middle’s near.
April showers
find their way,
to set the scene
for a rainy day.
Then as
night falls,
the moon appears.
Full, new or crescent?
is soon revealed.
A pleasant sight
for all to see.
This april moon,
far above me.
Beyond
the treetops,
high in
the sky.
Miss April Moon,
sends out
her light.
