Silver Spoon
Lying on the table, sparkling -
am I a fool? is this mine?
the table utters - granny, it's granny's
it has a story...
a long back granna bought in a tour
I am here till that time
shocked I, are you the spoon?
where do you granny, where is granna?
a silence, deep silence...
the curtains whirling, the table speaking
the lights swinging, the clock ticking
night, it's night or midnight?
the food is there lying on the table
the silver knife, the English saucer
& the empty home with a silver spoon
where am I ? asking high
the saucer smiles - ask babe ask
it's granny's table silver spoon!
