My Vivid Dream

In my home I sat,
Laying on the floor flat,
Thinking about us in the past,
Hoping we would once again be like that,
But of course, I was too late,
To late to realize that I was losing you,
Too late to accept the bitter truth.
I thought I could be better than I was,
I thought you would love me better if I evovled,
I didn't know you were already in love with me just as I was,
I messed up and that's my fault,
My dream was something I thought was real,
I was there with you and our beautiful kids,
I pray that dream comes to reality.
You were looking so radiant as ever,
And then I wondered what I would do if you were with another,
I held your hands as we walked with our kids,
Down the shore of the beach, I wish it was real,
But by the time you kissed me and we sat on the sand,
With our kids by our side and your head on my shoulder,
With you telling me how much you love me,
I knew I was dreaming, cause I woke up right after,
Wishing for that dream to present it self someday,
CauseI would give anything to be like that with you again.
