what is love to you?

was a question i was once asked before

my definition of love was the way the flowers relied on the sun's brightness to keep it alive and beautiful

or how a rainbow brought color to the cloudy skies after hours of heavy rain

then you came into my life and you showed me the beauty of living

you saw the darkness that overpowered me and you helped me outshine it

as i lay in your arms, getting lost in your gaze

i soon came to realize

love is simply you.
