Growth
Growth, a word so revered, that mankind has been chasing,
Not always about the development and our constant pacing,
For it may also come in stepping back and letting go,
Like in nature, where lessons thrive in quiet, gentle flow.

Like the blossom that blooms so brightly for a time,
Only to fall, and become part of the earth's sublime.
Growth can too come in knowing when to let go,
And to become once more, like a child, and relearn what we know.

Like a caterpillar in it's cocoon all wrapped in tight,
Must break free to become a butterfly in flight,
Choosing to see the world with wonder and delight,
Growth blossoms anew, and creates a ceaseless expansion of true insight.

Like a river, that carves its path through winding and jagged terrain,
So must we learn to navigate the ups and downs, and let go of hurt and pain,
And like the ocean ever-moving, ever-flowing,
Growth may come in waves, with gentle ebbing and going.

Like wildflowers, blooming by the roadside,
Pushing through impossible conditions, their spirit never died.
Growth sometimes is to find home on earth's unassuming spaces,
Where most see death, they see life's graces.

Just as the tree that sways gently in the wind,
Growth comes not only in motion, but also in a rhythm that allows our spirit to rebuild.
Like the heart that must rest between each beat,
Calling forth the energy to live, to love, and to complete.

Growth sometimes, lies not just in the push and the drive,
But also in the stillness, the moment, the peace where we can revive.
And like the sun that takes a rest at night,
We rise like a phoenix, shining bright.
