Stay childish
Little Hearts, Big Joys
Little hearts, pure and light,
Chasing dreams, holding tight.
Eyes wide open, a world to see,
Filled with wonder, wild and free.
Oh, how they laugh, how they play,
Unbound by worry, just today.
Innocence blooms, sweet and fair,
Why can’t it stay, always there?
When sixty years, life’s journey ends,
Why not a turn, to child again?
Let hands grow soft, let laughter ring,
Let life once more feel the spring.
For in each wrinkle, a story’s spun,
Lessons learned, and laughter won.
Grant us back those simple sights,
To dance with joy in gentle lights.
Little hearts to guide the way,
In childlike love, may we all stay.
