Echoes of Mother's Heart
As far as a letter goes,
It was nondescript,
It was a message of melancholy,
Capable of shattering one's heart into million pieces,
Rendering repair impossible,

A mother's message to her daughter,
I might not be able to witness you growing.
In my heart, you will always be a child.
I became stagnant but you should keep flowing,

Walking in your shadows, I will accompany you.
With the hands of the breeze, I will caress you.
On all your path , I will lay roses.
Like a cozy blanket in cold weather, I shall hug you tight every night.

Lighting the latern,
Hoping to have one last desire, to hold you one last time,
I thought you loved me, but I suppose Death loves me more,
Wherever I am, my heart will keep lingering with you,

There the last leaf falls,
Her final whisper.
