I’m stuck in this horrid loop
of infinite chaos and hurt

you were my only reprieve
but now I fear I’ve killed-
brutally erraticated and murdered-
this beautiful thing we had
that I thought would be forever and always

now instead of reading wedding vows
I’m reading and screaming our last rights
and spitting on the grave of something
that I thought
would never ever die
