Time for a Change(a brief history)
I'm getting better all the time.
I learned to read late with
Dr. Seuss books at the age of 6 and it seems
I have a natural flow and rhyme
I only need a little help
In which to refine
In school I hated
So terribly to write
My penmanship so ugly
And couldn't keep up with my mind
But learning is my passion
And words drew my eyes
Reading became a habit, an addict,
It soon consumed my life
Even Webster's dictionary
Became a favorite read to pass the time
When shirking class work
Or any reason otherwise
So now all these years later
Neither do I read
And still, I hate to write
So many words I have to offer
So now it's time to try
A CHANGE IS COMING
