I don't think I shall ever see a stump as pretty as a tree.
I believe my Grandpa wrote this, in 1996. I have not been able to find it anywhere else, or trace it back too anyone. Is anyone else familiar with this poem? It has stuck with me for life, and almost metaphorically speaks to me the older I get. believed to be verbally created by Dewey C. Gossett
