Perspective Of A Kitten
Walking on North
Dancing along South
Frolicking East
Running out West
Taking this feeling from inside my chest
With claws out, ready to scamper
With excitement, there is no damper

A butterfly is my first catch of the day
A mouse I miss in dismay
Go home to the treats and pets and scratches behind my ear
It is my family I hold dear
Even though they do not quite like the bird I caught as a gift here
They laugh and smile after the original shock
Maybe next time I should just bring a rock

So after a dinner of fish flavored crumbles
Up the stairs I rumble
Up and onto the bed
For more pets and kisses onto my head
Curling up into a ball
Pretending to sleep
Even though tonight I'll go out again and brawl
The furniture taking the expense of my fun
