Human Labels
A thing is still a thing
No matter the words we sing,
or the description we bring.
That thing, is still that thing.

We could have a wooden box,
we could call it a metal sphere, or a fox,
but, at the end of the day, it's still the same box;
and if it gets wet, it might rot.

We can call it different names
and describe it different ways
but ultimately, it opens the same way
and holds the same stuff each day.

But as societies progress
this is a truth that one often forgets.
The more "intellegent" one is is beset
by the number of names one can call the same upset.

And thus we spiral into an abyss
where everything needs a label or is remiss.
But truth be told, it would be remiss
If we label everything and everyone dismissed -

That, truthfully,
human personalities should not be labeled completely
Or else we limit our ingenuity
and become a product of someone else's creativity.
