One, Two, I’ll skip a Few
There’s things I’ve done, that I’m not proud of.
Things that are only known by the Big Man Above.
I’ve been a bully.
And to the victims, “Im Sorry”
I regret it truly.
I’ve been a man who’s lied.
Most times, would’ve been easier to be honest, but I hadn’t even tried.
I’ve neglected…
And I found reason, because none objected.
They never put up a fight,
And so I told myself, “This must be right”
I realized my wrongs and told myself I’d start anew,
A fresh beginning, knowing just what to do.
But as I sit here and type this just for you,
There’s one thing I know that is absolutely true…
The problems I mentioned are broad and unspecific…
And I didn’t even mention what was truly horrific.
But like I told you,
I mentioned one,
And I mentioned two,
And maybe my flaw is,
I just so happened to skip a few.
