If time is change in space
Then why
As you stand still before me
You make my heart race?
If my goal was seeing your face
Every single day
Why are you so damn far away?
Why is the past
So much in the present?
My eyes playing tricks
They still see your presence
The smell of your flesh
Captive within my walls
The freedom I felt
As your body crushed mine
Violating every law of physics
The more you pushed me down
The more I felt like flying
The more you held me tight
The less I cried
I guess it made me a king
Having a queen by my side
You were in my mind
twenty-five seven
I’m sure when I die
You’ll be in every corner of heaven
