It seems like the easiest thing to do,
And I guess it is to me and you,
But think about it just a little bit,
Seemenly mundane to do it.
Bending down and tying your shoe,
Tying laces is something we all do
It's easy now that you know how,
No need to even think about it now.
But it was a tricky task to learn,
Watching first then taking your turn
Took a while before you got it right,
Practicing trying with all your might.
Frustrating thing to learn tying shoes
But knots are just so handy to use.
