If I had just one more day to stay,
To witness another sunrise’s ray,
Or the sun setting beyond the horizon’s edge,
Eluding the looming shadow of death.
What if I had lived my life in a different way,
Chosen different actions each day,
This or that, so many ’what ifs’ in disarray,
Regrets abound, yet no button to rewind life’s play.
If I could have another day, a chance to relive,
To turn back time and change how I live,
Halt its relentless march, find a way,
I would trade everything to rewrite a new destiny.
But when the future appears devoid of hope,
And the past slips away, breaking all the ropes,
