DANCING REMAINS
Take thy life
and all that love hath spared
Refuse such forgiveness’s
and ignite the flames
For love burns willfully,
distilling ash unfulfilling cares,
Oh gentle maiden, Faces of youth
Smile at me if you must,
Or disguise yourself, if you dare
But this heartbreak pains,
Yearning poverty,
greater death of entire bleeds true
Til flesh melts remains
A shield once carried,
Protects a heart
woefully broken in two
But why does love
always have to be the one to blame?
