Amidst the pages of equality
I was told,
You and your brother aren't equal,
I didn't understood then,
Neither do I get it now,
And,i earnestly request,
my writer colleagues to please make my soul understand it,
How are we unequal?
When we live in the same house,
Breathe the same air,
Eat the same food,
Are born from the same genetic composition,
Are bought up by the same members,
Share the same DNA,
Have similar interests,
Have one ear,two eyes, and one mind,
Had the same schooling,
Ah,now I get it,
We aren't the same in gender,
Did,I choose to be a female?
Or,Being, myself as a female counterpart is the culprit here?

He has no barriers to learning,
But there is a limit to mine,
He has no barriers of round the clock returning home,
But,i have,
He doesn't need to learn chores,
But, dude,I have to be a master in it!!
He needs to have the best job, but,
They, say,I have no need of working?
To which I said, then why did I study the primary ones?
I wish it would have been better if they had notified about it to me in the childhood itself,
Atleast i didn't have to waste my efforts in studies,
Ah,still can't get my answers,
Did I chose to be a female,
or,Being a female counterpart is the culprit here??
