SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS
#WritcoPoemPrompt113
Rain, once a symphony of droplets sweet,
Now a deluge that our world can't beat,
Climate change has altered your gentle pace,
Bringing floods and droughts to the human race.

Your waters rise, and cities sink beneath,
Extreme weather ravages, a new norm to breathe,
The earth cries out, in anguish and in pain,
As the balance shifts, and the future's uncertain gain.

Yet, in your raindrops, hope still clings,
A chance for renewal, as the earth sings,
A reminder that our actions must align,
To heal the wounds, and restore the climate's rhyme.

Let us embrace, the beauty and the might,
Of rain's sweet touch, and the earth's delight,
And strive to preserve, the balance of our sphere,
For a sustainable future, where all can thrive and persevere.
