tIred
I am drained
Not today. Not tonight
Over the many years that passed
I wonder how did it last.

Those lips that whispered name
My name
I am flushed over them
Ringing deep in my consciousness
Scraping my inners, spreading blood
Like a terrible wildfire.

The trust and hope
Now dance upon my shoulder
Over a melody of anguish
Creaks and squeaks steals the silence
Once tall now barely sprawl.

A day or twice
May rest be suffice
To stand, to feel the air
Swim about the thin, narrow river
Whilst bounce back and forth
In thy sea of sprouts.
