I am like a turtle, slow and vigilant.
but my soul yearns to be a bird
flying gracefully in the sky, without a worry in the world.
yet I'm stuck on the ground, while my anxiety festers and grows.
I wish I could feel the wind in my feathers as I fly through the cool spring breeze
but I will never expirience that.
because I'm nothing more than a turtle.
