A Thousand Pieces
What we have right now us smashed and shattered,

It's blasted right now in a thousand pieces.

It cannot be glued,  stitched,  taped,  or mended back together

There's just too many sharp edges and creases.

Despite how this happened it's  still splatted on the floor,

We are standing right above it looking flat out amazed.

It's now up to us about what we do next,

It's impossible to fix,  it should just be replaced.

We tried so many times but it doesn't look the same,

Dedication and determination is there even a purpose?

Taking only the pieces we want and leaving the rest behind,

Up to our eyelids in stress we've finally reached the surface.

Miniature memories are now scattered everywhere and lost,

It was meant to happen prepared like a plan.

So I'll take one piece and begin to rebuild at all costs.
