What is it we celebrate?
The triumph of good
And of evil, death?
Is there meaning to what we do?
Burning things the previous night
Today play with colors, water later have good food?
Or is it just that we remember today
The stories of demons and Gods
Then close the door, put the key away?
To be taken out again only next year.
As a child, I think, that's all it is
But as an adult? Think and get the meanings clear.
That's the reason we are given
So many ways to understand
Each one is called a Religion.
