The journey to rebuild trust within oneself,
Is a path unknown to everyone else.
And so while others may judge and criticise your stride,
You have nothing to fear, and nothing to hide.

Because no one truly knows the time it takes,
To rebuild trust, to mend the heart breaks.
Yet they're quick to criticise every move you make,
Without understanding the rugged path you take.

During the quiet struggle, and the silent fight,
You've had to work to heal, to make things right.
Yet their judgment falls, without empathy,
Unaware of your journey, your true reality.

Then when your back is turned, the opportunity to hate begins.
But only you know the depth of the wounds within.
So, hold your head high, stay strong, stay true,
For only you know what you’ve been through.

Hide not your talent, despite the critics’ cries,
Because they cannot fathom the battles fought inside.
Therefore, let their words pass, like the wind in the night,
For the only approval needed is found in your own eyes!!
