Am I that bad
Am I that tiresome
Am I that mad
Am I that uncomfortable to be around
Am I that boring
I am that pessimistic about my own life
But am I not inspirational to all the ones I love?
Do I not help
Do I not mend
Do I not make you feel less alone
I've been told I have a bigger purpose
Do I though? I have been trying
I know I wanna do something in life that helps people
I'm just stuck trying to figure out what that is
I know I'm difficult
I don't need to hear all my faults but trust me I'm bringing it up every day
I've already tormented myself with all of it
But I show up
I make an effort
I care
I protect
I love
I, I, I ...yes
I'm not always easy to be around
...but I am a lot more than my imperfections
