dear past,
A slice of the ugly you is gone..
days were I foolishly lost it,
things happened,all bad you can guess,
memories were meant to be remembered but you are not worth keeping as a memory.
I tried ending the life I had so it'll end cus of you,
I lost my way,fell into different pits,
got hurt lotta times and cried cus of you,
being swept away with regret was my order
Now I've decided to burst your bubbles
I learnt that mistakes were always gonna happen,
I've gained the boldness of facing you and not running away,
cus running away will be another mistake I'd make.
So I'm gonna smile and walk away from you,
I'll let you walk at my back and I'll take the lead..
You,my past was not made to rule you know..
My yesterday is gone
I've met my today
And I'm hoping to see my tomorrow
All hopes of a better life has enveloped me.
I lost my way in the past, in my present, I've found the way, In my future, I'll joyfully know how to find the way even if I lose it
