Dogs are so much more then just an animal
The amounts they've saved my life is almost abnormal

They will comfort you whenever you want
And most important, there love is fore sure meant

They give you paws for cookies and sleep alot
And, oh yeah they bark, a freaking lot

But the amount of kisses and licks is amazing
That's why the love between owner and dog is dazing

They know when you're hurt or struggling with something
When trying to help you, nothing will stop them

I have 2 little teckels, they mean the world to me
There's names are Saartje and Lotje

2 years ago, my shih tzu and other teckel passed away
The shih tzu was 18 but the teckel only 2 when we had to give them awayu

I still miss them alot, they were the sweetest boys
I hope they now have unlimited food and toys

I hope, just like me, you also think dogs are beautiful and kind
