It was 31st December of 2019,
Everyone was celebrating,
Taking new year resolution
With the hope to make 2020 a better one.

2020 came, Calendars changed,
Few resolutions started, few went in vain
Life was flowing as usual,
With Politics and Pollution.

No one was aware,
that the covid is not rare
As the pandemic grew,
Nations went into lockdown barring a few
An experience for us very new.

Not much an issue for regular salaried
But a nightmare for parallel economy,
Away from home, money left very few
Their penury grew.

NGOs, Institutions, Individuals
came for their liberation
Support from administration,
