If I had a time machine, I would journey back in time,
To witness my old man in his prime, For me, a sight so rare to see,
A man of strength and grace, providing for his kin,
With dedication and hard work, the battles he would win.
A loving heart, a guiding hand, he'd conquer every race.

In the early dawn's light, he'd rise without delay,
To labour through the day and night,
A machine he was, they say, with a heart so pure and strong,
Shouldering the world's weight, never once did he go wrong.
