The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors,
To complete all our tasks
We had to wear gloves and masks
Cleaning our hands from time to time
Living as strangers in our house
Such was the fear engraved in our minds
The government told us to be wary
As this deadly virus was scary
No honking was heard on the roads
Only ambulances taking the patients to hospitals from their home
No one spoke to you as they feared contracting the virus
Even if they knew each other, they behaved like strangers
Everything around the world changed in one day
For the virus that took over like a storm held everyone at bay.

Although slowly things are getting back to normal, still those who have witnessed and survived this pandemic shall never be able to forget it their entire lives.
