Having the sun for breakfast...
I'll paint you mornings of gold.
Place the sun above your ceiling.
Let it rise in your eyes,
Erase your nightmares and
Speak day dreams to your heart.
Burn your lips like black coffee,
Awaken you from the us that slept beneath shelters of dark trees,
Howling winds and
Distant cars on freeways at midnight
Frozen by night breeze...
Breaking each other's hearts.
To the us who hold the sun in our hands
Without getting burnt,
Walking under skies
That drink light from a can of soda
Chilling the youth out of us.
Making us new,
Finding each other once more.
Ah!
The pillow will envy such moments.
It will miss your tears,
Never finding you lonely.
always in love....
It will dry.
