The pages of my old book,
Hold my memories of yesterday,
Every smile, every tear,
Every person who came my way...

I've weathered many seasons,
Seen the world in different light,
Shared my laughter, shared my wisdom,
Through the day and into night.

I've seen the world transform,
And felt its heartbeat change,
But in my heart, I've stayed the same,
Though time has rearranged.

Now as I close this chapter,
And bid the world adieu,
I'll cherish all that's gone before,
And carry it with me, too.

The sunsets and the sunrises,
The colors of the sky,
The laughter and the love I've known,
As the years have drifted by.

So as I turn the final page,
And lay my old book by,
I'll smile at all the memories,
As I bid the world goodbye.
