It's been raining for hours,
Admired its misty view from the window,
Could hear the wind and the showers,
While you lay your head on my pillow
Thoughts of you kept me awake.
The conversation we had earlier in the day.
I could only pray you wasn't leaving tomorrow.
At least the weather was keeping me company.
