Standing all straight
Even though it breaks my neck
Tightening my chest
I guess at this point breathing is not what I request

Cutting my hair
Even though I love how it looks in braids
Throwing away all my glitter
Because you said it'll be easier to look in the mirror

You said it'll make me feel better
Now I wanna hide in my sweater
Like a man, cry angry tears
And as well as be full of fears

But it won't be the same for me
We both know that I can't be as free
Letting my emotions get the best of me
Without being told how she's still inside of me

Like a man, searching for love
Like a man to just be known
Sitting comfortably on my throne
