Memoirs in Ink
#WritcoPoemPrompt16
The pages of my old book,
Hold my memories of yesterday,
Every smile, every tear,
Every person who came my way.

In faded ink, tales unfold,
Of adventures brave and stories untold.
Each page turned, a journey traced,
A tapestry of moments, beautifully laced.

Through laughter and through pain,
In sunshine and in rain,
These memories, they endure,
In every line, in every word, so pure.

With each passage, a piece of me,
Embedded in this chronicle, for all to see.
A testament to the life I've led,
In these pages, my heart has bled.

But as the chapters fade to gray,
And the end draws near, I'll say,
Though time may weather and age this tome,
In my heart, these memories find their home.
