Being good don't get you into Heaven
The devil has told you a lie
If that was the case we would question
Why Jesus long ago had to die!
Our world here has been misinformed
People tell their children to be good
But this couldn't be any further from the truth
It's just downright misunderstood!
Gods holiness is something that we can't understand
It's only for Him to know
Our minds could never comprehend it
And it's one reason that He loves us so
Gods Son was meant to be a mediator
It's just the way that it was worked out
If we go through Jesus, we inherit Eternal life
There's so much that we know nothing about!
Jesuss death was never in vain
He was only doing God's will
I think about the price He paid
And because of Him my heart can be healed!
I was taught a long time ago
That the bible teaches what is true
Each and every word is there to show us
What in this life we must do
I decided to follow Gods only Son
Because it is the only way it could be
For me to inherit that holy city
And to be with God through Eternity! ❤️
