Reflections
Through rippling waters, I see my face,
With its calm and placid grace.
My soul’s fill of infinite space,
Growing ever in life’s race.

Through the blue depths, I’m awoken,
From the heartache, I’ve broken.
And though my spirit may be broken,
A new spark is often found unspoken.

Through clear waters, I hear my voice,
Though I cannot make the choice.
A whisper of the unknown,
A deep longing for the lone.

Through the depths, I feel the touch,
Of my failures and my lust.
Eternally binding my love,
Double doubling with a shove.

Through flowing waters, I find my peace,
Within fear, and reverence.
For once I know who I am,
My reflections are no longer a sham.

Echoing and reflecting
My being which is connecting
My soul, wandering in the night,
Bringing me to the blessed light.

My reflections in the water,
Giving me strength, not a daughter.
They are my strength and thus my shield,
A reminder of the truths I must yield.
