It spread far and wide,
Embracing its victims with a death's grip.
"Hi... how are you doing? " he asked with a bright smile
As each person hopped on when he stopped the bus
The morose people just stared at the driver
The sad ones blinked, wondering what's there to smile now?
The sober ones managed to grin back at him
Very few passengers, the happy ones, smiled back and replied
Every passenger was lost in his own thoughts
