I am a lonely streetlight
Unable to move ahead
Stuck-up at a fixed, unmoving site.
No matter how much I try
I find it hard to shine myself bright.

The roads of life are pitch black and stark,
Installing chilling fears of the unknown dark,
The lost trust and heart wrenching fright,
Day by day I'm losing my insight.

I'm losing my mind,
Haven't heard anyone, since a long time,
Getting palpitations, seeing empty pathways,
Even a tiny pebble, I am unable to find.

I don't even find my partners in sight,
My hopes have started to waver
And sometimes I feel flickering bytes.

Everyone enjoyed with me,
when the days were bright,
But when my journey is passing...
