There's nothing wrong with who I am,
I'm not hurting you, but you're stepping on my pride,
And if you think telling me who to be will change anything,
Well, then you're in for one hell of a ride!

I don't care what you say,
I'm only what nature made me,
And I don't care what you do,
So long as you just leave me be...

I know you're still nitpicking,
And you're still screaming,
I can hear you just fine,
But you people must be dreaming!

I don't care what you think,
Or how loud you can shout,
'Cause messing with you is half the fun,
And the rest is watching you try to figure me out!

Why should I try to be like everyone else,
Don't even need to think about it,
I'm not the only one who sees things a little differently,
But at least I'm not the one who's throwing a fit!
