CROSSROADS
I have come too far to return,
To the merriful days I left back.
I have no one with me,
Nothing to see,
All I see in front is black.
I was terrified
And my limbs were numb-
Roads were to end somewhere,
Bu they didn't-
I could hear my heart thump.

And then I saw a glow,
At the farthest end;
I ran, relieved-
I was going to be saved
Maybe I would meet a friend.
I had done it at last,
I had come past those loads-
But no, what I believed was a lie.
I was not free-
Ahead of me was a crossroad.

Afraid,
I tried to step back-
From what was awaiting me.
But it was all vain-
Because if I move back;
It will be all dark-
Again.
